Abstract:
This paper applies the method of multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to assess the maneuverability of submarine. The factor sets of evaluation are determined according to the principle of maneuverability. The priority of each factor set is formulated by applying the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Through the ridged-shape distribution of membership function a single factor evaluation matrix is formulated, and the final results are identified by multi-level fuzzy evaluation. This study demonstrates that it is a simple and scientific approach to assessing the maneuverability of submarine, and also the computer code for assessment can be easily achieved.
