Abstract:
The supercharged boiler is an important equipment in the ship power system, while the research on shock resistance of marine boiler is insufficient at present. In this paper, the non-linear finite element software ABAQUS is used to numerically simulate the dynamic response of a marine supercharged boiler subjected to the impact loading under different work conditions. The shock resistance of supercharged boiler is studied by time-domain simulation method. Considering the supercharged boiler standing with pre-stress induced by various work pressure and then subjected to impact loading, several conclusions are drawn. The regularity of dynamic response of the marine supercharged boiler varying with length of shock duration is investigated, and the variation of structure dynamic response to the impact peak value is obtained as well. Then the effect of different work pressure on shock resistance is studied and some rules are obtained. Finally, the shock-resistance characteristics of supercharged boiler are analyzed. This paper presents some valuable ideas for the anti-shock design of marine supercharged boiler.
