Abstract
In recent years, significant progress has been made in the experimental and simulation research of underwater blast induced structural damage, the correctness, accuracy and credibility of simulation are one of the primary focuses. On the one hand, there are a few progresses in the V&V research of the single application of simulation methods. On the other hand, the existing researches involved in the V&V of the simulation of detonation and damage mechanics are still less systematic or comprehensive. Aiming at the urgent demand for assessment of the credibility of underwater blast induced hull structural damage simulation, referencing the concepts and connotation of simulation V&V in relevant fields, this paper establishes the verification and hierarchical validation framework in the simulation of underwater blast induced hull structural damage, selects and inducts the corresponding V&V experiments, object and content, summarizes the recent progress in the involved V&V approaches, so as to providing technical reference to the credibility assessment system to be built of the simulation of underwater blast induced hull structural damage and to the model based ship life-cycle design.
