Seakeeping Design and Calculation of the Ship Performance Index
Seakeeping design is important at preliminary design stage. Calculating method of the Ship Performance Index(SPI) based on the computational research results of ship motion response in regular and real sea is introduced, moreover, analysis of the function of the ship task percentage by computing a real ship is given.
