Abstract
In this study, the longitudinal vibration characteristics of underwater submarine shaped vehicle with double-hull are investigated. The finite element method is applied to calculate natural frequency and draw out the longitudinal vibration mode. The results show that the inner shell of this underwater vehicle has two typical longitudinal global vibration modes, that is vibration nodal plane mode and thrown block mode, while the outer shell gives priority to local vibration.
