Evaluation Method of Ship Design Quality Based on Fuzzy AHP and D-S Theory

Design quality of a warship is the critical factor that affects the finally quality of warship. A method, combining the fuzzy AHP and D-S theory, is proposed to evaluate design quality. To avoid evidence conflict, th is method adds the most excellent evidence into D-S theory, which makes the evaluating result in reasonable manner. The method is proved to be feasible by some validation examples, and thus can play a significant role in quality control of warship design and to ensure the developing process successfully.
