Program Design for Quick Bulkhead Subdivision Based on ObjectARX

Due to the irregular shapes of ship compartment and its large quantity, the risk of the bulkhead subdivision project increases significantly at initial design phase. Targeting to reduce the difficulties and improve t he visualization of bulkhead subdivision, this article introduced a new method of modeling the bulkhead based on subdivision line, which followed the concept of subdivision line and the ordering of ship lines, and thro ugh the secondary development on the AUTOCAD, the program was implemented. In practical application, the complexity and period of bulkhead subdivision are reduced enormously, the program provides an organized control m ethod to the designer.
