  • Based on the study of ship maneuverability characteristics together with a variety of performance evaluation systems,a user-friendly and effective control of ship performance evaluation method is presented.Firstly,th e index system of manipulation was set based on the inherent maneuverability of ship,and available methods including the Delphi method,the Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP),the gray correlation method as well as the comprehensive fuzzy analysis were reviewed,and an DHGF integrated method was therefore proposed on these grounds,architecture principles of this method and the calculation procedure are illustrated.Applying the DHGF t heory in an evaluation of ship maneuverability shows that the evaluated results agree with the realistic one.It proves that the DHGF integrated method has advantages both in theory and being able to use reliably and pr actically,providing reference for evaluation of ship maneuverability in engineering design.
